What access type do you require?
Our blade department has technicians for all types of blade access and the back office to support both small and large projects and campaigns.
On low complexity projects we use rope access, as this method ensures a speedy, highly mobile, and more cost-effective process, compared to using platforms.
All our rope access works are of course carried out in accordance with IRATA guidelines and all our specialised technicians are trained accordingly.
We use platforms for the more complex and time-consuming tasks. This allows us to work at the same spot for a longer time and to carry more tools with us.
As always, our focus lies on safety, quality, flexibility, and having the right people with specialised competences. Combined with our vast experience this makes us your ideal partner for blade repair and service.
Another of our key services. We can deliver full repair teams or provide you with a turnkey package solution that covers your complete blade campaign.
In close collaboration with our related company, Fred. Olsen Windcarrier, we have developed a unique model for offshore blade exchange and repair directly from the vessel while relocating between turbines.
We train and educate technicians ourselves
Wind turbine blade maintenance requires knowledge, expertise and special equipment together with specially trained technicians.
Like in everything else we do, our focus lies on safety, quality, flexibility and having the right people with highly specialised competences.
Through our own Global Wind Service Training Academy, we continuously conduct a variety of different trainings for our blade team, moving the learning curve from the field into the training facility.
In this way we can develop and ensure the high quality of work we have become known for.
