Borkum Riffgrund II

During the summer 2018, Global Wind Service (GWS) delivered wind turbine technicians for pre-assembly, installation and completion for 56 x 8MW turbines at Borkum Riffgrund II offshore wind farm and pre-assembly site Esbjerg.

Wikinger Offshore Wind Farm

From December 2016 to May 2018 Global Wind Service worked on installation, quality assurance, mechanical & electrical completion, non-conformance reporting and 500-hour service on the 70 Adwen AD5-135 turbines at Wikinger Offshore Wind Farm.

Block Island

In 2016, Global Wind Service (GWS) provided manpower for the installation of the first offshore wind farm in the US: Block Island

Haliade 150 Offshore, Østerild

In 2016, Global Wind Service (GWS) undertook an exciting installation of a Haliade 150 offshore wind turbine prototype at the National Test Center for Large Wind Turbines in Osterild, Denmark. The video is made in collaboration with BMS, GE and GWS.
