ABOUT THE JOB

We are expanding our team with a Project Resource Manager to be based in our office in Szczecin. You will be responsible for resource allocation management for Wind Turbine Technicians employed by GWS driving their operational planning on various projects all around the world. Next to that you will be deeply involved in the newly implemented integrated planning process and the individual working steps that go with it (Strategic/Tactical/Operational).

We are looking for a candidate that is self-motivated, with the ability to multitask and work under pressure, with excellent communication skills and a proven ability to line-manage individuals. Experience within the wind or oil/gas industry would be ideal. This position is part of the European setup for Resource Management in the Offshore Division so travelling should be expected.


Requirements

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Defining and publishing manpower setup for projects (Strategic/Tactical/Operational)
  • Ensuring most efficient utilization level for your group of managed Technicians and the division
  • Support the recruitment process to select the profiled Technicians
  • Communicating assignment and project information to Technicians
  • Line management of Technicians – maintaining regular contact with Technicians, including performance management, feedback and annual dialogues regarding development
  • Maintain individual development plan for technicians
  • Lead grievance and disciplinary actions in line with HR
  • Deal with timesheet issues in case of operational conflicts
  • Manage and authorise holiday requests for Technicians
  • Approving expenses for Technicians (reconciliation of expenses i. e. travel costs)
  • Conduct site visits

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Desirable Wind Industry background
  • Previous line management experience ideally within the wind or oil/gas industry
  • Complex man-planning education/skills and experience
  • Contractual/legal understanding
  • Project understanding
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels within the business
  • Good English skills (written and spoken)
  • Very good understanding of IT systems, including Excel
  • Flexible and able to work within a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to self-motivate and manage own workload
  • Excellent organisational, multitasking and prioritisation skills
  • International communication experience and understanding of cultural differences
  • Highly motivated, driven to deliver the highest standard of service
  • Team player
  • Cost reconciliation experience
  • Recruitment experience will be an advantage
