Build on the belief, that we can do things better
Global Wind Service A/S (GWS) was established in January 2008 by Lars Bo Petersen and Michael Nielsen, both of whom had many years of experience in the wind industry – in the field and in the management of installation and service projects.
They had a strong belief, that things could be done in a different way - in a better way. And with the courage to grow and develop together with clients and partners. Since the very beginning, we have focused on being flexible - finding solutions for our clients and helping them lower the cost of energy.
When we founded Global Wind Service we wanted to build a **company** that could do things **better,** more **flexible** and **faster** for our clients, while keeping **focus in the individual technician**
Global Wind Service today
The company has developed and grown considerably over the years into being a preferred partner for wind projects globally. A global organisation with local knowledge and presence in many countries.
Growth and development remain key drivers to success together with our strong focus on people.
In February 2019 Michael Høj Olsen was appointed CEO of the Global Wind Service to lead the company on the continued growth journey.
"The rapid growth in the wind industry and in Global Wind Service calls for continuous improvements and development of our people and processes, so that we can continue to deliver safe projects with a high quality standard"
Michael Høj Olsen, CEO
